Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between dominickoy machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonas Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). machida kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is the game. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, dominickoy machida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jonas Freeman!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Freeman lands a lovely overhand right.
Freeman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Freeman lands a nice shot to the body.
Freeman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Freeman throws a right and a left that both miss.
No joy there for Freeman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Freeman throws a nice looking combination but machida bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Freeman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but machida manages to avoid it.
Freeman throws a right hand that machida ducks under and follows up with a left that machida also avoids with ease.
machida gets a clinch.
machida lands a right hand.
Freeman is pressed up against the ropes. machida has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Freeman down to the mat. Freeman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
machida throws a head kick that misses.
Freeman throws a head kick but machida moves out of range.
machida shoots in and bounces Freeman off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
machida is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
machida won't allow Freeman to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Freeman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Freeman doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
machida stands and throws Freeman's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Freeman is looking for a sweep.
machida is working to tighten is grip on Freeman's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Freeman has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but machida is really squeezing tight and eventually Freeman passes out! machida breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
