Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvasov misses with a jab, cross combination.
A little jabbing left from Jones on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kvasov scores with a one two! Jones had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Cru Jones has been cut.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kvasov is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Kvasov circles away and we're back to standing.
We've been told by Kvasov's head coaches at Team Finland that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Kvasov.
Kvasov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kvasov lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kvasov swivels and escapes.
Oooooh!!! Kvasov has knocked Jones down with a huge combo! Kvasov steps away and waves a wobbly Jones back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kvasov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

That has opened up Cru Jones's cut even more.

Kvasov steps in with a hook that catches Jones right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kvasov follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Jones looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roman Kvasov!
A relieved looking Roman Kvasov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
