Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Danial Stafford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As Hammer tries to get set, Stafford tries to push him back and clinch up but Hammer manages to avoid the attempt.
Jack Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer lands a nice looking body shot.
Hammer lands with a nice body punch.
A slapping body kick lands there for Hammer.
Hammer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hammer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A telegraphed right hand from Hammer misses the target.

Stafford misses with a series of wild punches.
Hammer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Hammer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As Hammer tries to get set, Stafford tries to push him back and clinch up but Hammer manages to avoid the attempt.

Hammer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stafford is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Hammer wants to control the position but Stafford says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Stafford working over Hammer with some ground and pound. Hammer looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Stafford has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Stafford lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Hammer is trying to maintain the position but Stafford is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Hammer throws a hook but Stafford blocks it.
Hammer throws a front kick that sends Stafford stumbling back into the cage.

Stafford instigates a clinch.
Hammer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Stafford throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hammer blocks it with crossed arms.
Stafford jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hammer walks away with a smile on his face. Stafford gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Stafford shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hammer as he jumps to the side.
The fighters circle, before Hammer throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Stafford's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Hammer lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
