Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robin Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barbosa has chosen The Next Episode as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes gets caught napping as Barbosa dives in and scores a takedown. Reyes manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barbosa gets to his feet. Reyes looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Barbosa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
An elbow from Barbosa crashes against the mat.

Barbosa jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Reyes manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Reyes is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Barbosa has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reyes is pulling down on Barbosa's head. It's preventing any offense from Barbosa, at least for the moment.

Reyes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Barbosa looking to sit in guard and control but Reyes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Barbosa drives through with a takedown into guard.

Reyes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barbosa on the ground.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Barbosa lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Reyes tightens his grip and picks Barbosa up, before dumping him to the ground. Barbosa manages to land in guard.
Reyes lands a couple of digs.
Barbosa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Barbosa wants to control but Reyes is keeping him busy.
Barbosa has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Reyes misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Reyes trying to get back to full guard but Barbosa takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Barbosa. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Barbosa wants to stand and escape but instead Reyes has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Gabriel Barbosa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Reyes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Reyes scores with a one two! Barbosa had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Gabriel Barbosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reyes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Barbosa to the mat! Barbosa manages to get full guard.
Barbosa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reyes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Barbosa is tightening it up a little... Reyes has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Reyes reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Reyes taps out! Nice BJJ there by Barbosa!
