The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes misses with a two punch combination.
Holmes misses with a double jab.
Holmes looks to land a combination but Cohen avoids it well.
Cohen fails with an attempt to clinch.

Holmes closes the distance and pushes Cohen back into the cage.
Cohen is trying to break the clinch but Holmes is controlling him.
Cohen avoiding damage as Holmes throws knees to the body.

Cohen jumps guard but Holmes stands there with Cohen around his waist. Cohen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holmes lands an elbow inside that Cohen shrugs off.
Holmes cracks Cohen with a nice body shot.

Holmes lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Holmes throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cohens head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Holmes creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Cohen is rocked!

Oh Cohen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cohen is breathing heavily.

Holmes breaks from the clinch.
Cohen shoots in looking for a takedown. Holmes tries to sprawl out of it but Cohen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Holmes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Holmes clinches up with Cohen and pushes him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holmes lands a nice elbow.
Holmes pushes Cohen against the cage. Holmes is working some dirty boxing. Holmes pushes off with a quick right hook! Cohen goes down! Cohen tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Holmes moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Jason Holmes tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
