The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Scott pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Scott closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Scott thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hunter's head.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Hunter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Scott manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hunter fails to land with a series of punches.
Scott doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Scott throws a head kick but Hunter moves out of range.
Hunter attempts a counter takedown but Scott avoids it well and moves away.
Hunter wants to clinch up but Scott keeps it at a distance.

Scott fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hunter to the ground. Scott is now in Hunter's guard.

Hunter can't escape the position.
Scott lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Scott can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hunter is looking to escape.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Scott cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Scott lands with some strikes.
Scott has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hunter's face.

Hunter is rocked!
Scott looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Hunter covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
