The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Zertiis 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Zertiis throws a hook but Titain blocks it.
Zertiis moves out of range as Titain strikes.
Zertiis changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Zertiis throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Zertiis throws a body punch but Titain moves out of range.
Titain works the jab nicely.
Zertiis dodges the punch combination from Titain.
Zertiis misses with a jab, cross combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Titain! But no joy.
Zertiis tries to clinch but Titain moves out of range.

Desmond Zertiis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Titain slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zertiis, as that shot connected.

Zertiis forces Titain back against the cage and clinches.

Titain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Zertiis shoots for a double leg takedown but Titain sprawls well. He's pushed Zertiis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Titain lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Titain drops Zertiis with a beautiful combination! Zertiis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Titain is looking for the KO!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Titain batters Zertiis with a massive right followed by a huge left! Zertiis is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Titain lands a final crushing right hand to drop Zertiis to the mat with a gruesome thud! Titain is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
