Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakuraba is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sakuraba tries to sprawl but Alkofer drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Alkofer seems to be working for a kimura but Sakuraba defends the submission attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
