Falcone comes into the arena with BLACK HAWK DOWN blaring out of the sound system. Fox has chosen Cant Be Touched by Roy Jones Jr. as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox throws out a loose jab but Falcone uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fox thows a body kick. Falcone tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Fox closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fox lands in his opponent's guard.
Fox must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Falcone is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Falcone looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Fox has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Falcone is proving hard to escape from.
Fox trying to control but Falcone is working from the bottom.

Falcone working for a triangle but Fox defends it easily.
Falcone wants to sweep here but Fox controlling him for the moment.

Fox stands and throws Falcone's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Falcone is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fox's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Fox tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Falcone moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Fox gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Fox feints and then cracks Falcone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Falcone down.
Fox dances in with a quick combination. Falcone is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Fox snaps Falcone's head back. Falcone stumbles backwards against the cage. Fox steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Falcone's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Falcone just didn't come prepared.
