And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy Munson!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bich wants to clinch.
Munson with the counter takedown but Bich avoids it easily.

Bich pushes Munson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Munson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Munson gets tackled into the cage by Bich. Bich maintains the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A chopping leg kick lands by Munson.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Munson tries to advance to mount but Bich denies him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bich moves to clinch but Munson breaks away

and Munson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Tommy Munson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!



Munson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Munson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Munson stops Bich from standing up.
Bich really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Munson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bich, up you get!

Munson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bich with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

and Munson counters with a shoot takedown. Bich fights it but they end up in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Munson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Munson tries to free his leg and advance position but Bich is retaining full guard.
Munson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Munson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Munson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bich fails with an attempt to clinch.

Munson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Munson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Munson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bich, who protects the arm well.

Munson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Munson is looking to take a break and control but Bich is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tommy Munson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Munson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
