The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dreesen delivers a nice body kick.
Sloppy strikes from Demaestri. Those never looked like landing.

Dreesen throws a sloppy head kick and Demaestri moves out of range easily.
Demaestri swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Dreesen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Dreesen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Demaestri's calf.
That kick from Dreesen tenderised Demaestri's leg. Demaestri is trying to keep his angry face on.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dreesen replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Demaestri blocks it well.

Demaestri will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Demaestri swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Dreesen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Demaestri.
Dreesen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Demaestri.

Demaestri is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Demaestri tests Dreesen's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Dreesen looks to throw a body kick
and Demaestri rattles Dreesen with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Dreesen tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Demaestri dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Dreesen stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Claudio Demaestri!
Claudio Demaestri decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
