Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Esko Takanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antero Wursty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takanen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Krayzie Bone - Murda Mo. Wursty has chosen Megadeth - The Skull Beneath The Skin as his entrance music. Esko Takanen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takanen checks the leg kick.
Wursty goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Wursty pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A counter left hand to the body from Takanen misses its target.
Wursty misses with a head kick.
Wursty throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A head kick misses from Wursty.
Takanen is looking to counter punch.
Takanen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Takanen takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The fighters circling - Takanen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A nice side step and Wursty releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Takanen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Takanen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wursty.
Takanen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Takanen looks to throw the jab but Wursty is out of range.

letting Wursty counter with a right hand.
Takanen tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Wursty is able to avoid easily.
Takanen thows a left - swing and a miss!
Takanen scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheers as Takanen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wursty doesn't seem phased though.
Wursty is still on wobbly legs! Can Takanen finish him?
A slow jab from Takanen misses its intended target.
Wursty chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Takanen can pounce on him.
Wursty seems to have recovered his senses.
Some bone on bone action there as Wursty checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Wursty drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Takanen defends it well.

Takanen throws the left hand but Wursty avoids the punch easily.
Takanen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wursty ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Takanen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Wursty counters with a nice leg kick.

Wursty misses with a hook.
It looked like Takanen wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Wursty lands a high kick!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takanen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wursty has time to react.
Takanen tries a low kick but Wursty avoids it.
Takanen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wursty.
Takanen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Takanen jabs at Wursty's body.
Wursty on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Takanen avoids the head kick by Wursty.
A left lands for Takanen.
Wursty scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Takanen blocks a head kick by Wursty.
Takanen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Takanen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wursty.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Esko Takanen will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wursty misses with a low kick as Takanen jumps back.
Wursty takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wursty shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wursty passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Takanen!

Wursty postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Takanen looks a forlorn figure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
