Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Winter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Winter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson fails with a takedown attempt.
Robinson shoots in for a double leg but Winter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Winter throws a series of punches but Robinson avoids them all with ease.
Winter leaves Robinson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jon Winter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Robinson.
Robinson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Winter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Winter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Robinson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Robinson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Winter's waist but Winter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Robinson off to one side.
Winter tries to counter by clinching up but Robinson breaks away and moves out of range.

and Winter counters with a three punch combo that has Robinson backing up. Robinson nods at Winter to acknowledge the strikes.
Winter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Robinson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Robinson tries to clinch there but Winter circles away.
Winter scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Robinson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Winter but Winter pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Robinson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Winter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Robinson somewhat.
Robinson stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Robinson has eaten all the pies!
Winter is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Robinson is looking to take this one to the mat.
Winter has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Robinson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Winter tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Robinson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Winter lands a head kick. Robinson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Robinson takes one to the chin there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Winter throws a series of strikes that have Robinson backpedaling.

and Winter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Winter throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The fight stays on the outside here - Robinson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Winter lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Winter throws a sloppy head kick and Robinson moves out of range easily.
Winter throws a half hearted mid kick.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Winter throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Winter throws a nice inside leg kick.
Winter stuffs the takedown attempt from Robinson. Robinson gets slowly back to his feet.
Jon Winter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robinson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Winter tries to avoid it but Robinson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Winter to the ground. Winter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Robinson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Horrible takedown attempt by Robinson or perhaps it was just good defense by Winter, which made it look bad.
A counter left hand to the body from Winter misses its target.
Winter goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Robinson fails with a takedown attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Robinson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Winter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Robinson circles away quickly and effectively.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Winter but Winter pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Winter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Robinson walks away with a smile on his face. Winter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Winter slaps away a takedown attempt from Robinson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Winter lands a really nice looking cross but Robinson seems unphased.
Winter throws a head kick but Robinson moves out of range.
Robinson steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

and Winter counters with a series of strikes. Robinson will be more careful next time no doubt.

Robinson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Winter has his hands clasped together but Robinson extends and breaks Winter's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Robinson.
