Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Walter Rothko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bj Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferguson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rothko napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Ferguson tries to advance to mount but can't.

Ferguson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rothko . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ferguson throws an elbow but Rothko slips to the side and avoids it well.
Rothko managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ferguson.
Rothko prevents Ferguson from moving into mount.
Ferguson works to advance to full mount. Rothko defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Rothko is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ferguson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Ferguson! Rothko is hurt baaadly! Ferguson is firing away with more strikes - Rothko is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
