The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouton shoots for a takedown but Ali saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Mouton feints and as Ali raises his hands in defense, Mouton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Mouton has gone for a leg lock! Ali slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mouton's guard.

Mouton has his foot on Ali's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ali works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Despite being in the dominant position, Evander Ali just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ali thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mouton if he has to take too many more of those.
Ali lands with a right that hurts Mouton. Mouton looks to clinch but Ali throws a short knee that drops Mouton. This one is all over!
