Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Gamble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Andreas Peters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Gamble!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gamble closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gamble lands in his opponent's guard.
Gamble not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Gamble missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

It looks like Andreas Peters has been cut.

Peters takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Gamble shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Peters's guard.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gamble is looking to control Peters but Peters is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Gamble is not going to allow Peters to sit and survive in this position.

Gamble tries to get the hooks in deep but Peters pushed the leg off.
Gamble keeps control of the position easily here as Peters tries to buck him off.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!


Peters on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Gamble tries to close the distance and clinch but Peters swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It looked like Peters was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Peters takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Gamble fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Peters sprawls well initially but Gamble persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Let's hope that Gamble has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Peters scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Gamble manages to mount him!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Peters wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Gamble.
Gamble prevents Peters from getting the reversal.
Gamble controlling the pace for now.
Gamble thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Peters wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Andreas Peters has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Matt Gamble is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
I would not like to be Peters right now.

Matt Gamble comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Gamble has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
