Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleixo Gene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Palmer Gerrard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Aleixo Gene has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Aleixo Gene seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Gerrard avoids a kick to the body.
Gene throws a right hand that Gerrard ducks under and follows up with a left that Gerrard also avoids with ease.
Aleixo Gene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gene looks to land a combination but Gerrard avoids it well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gene tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Gene rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gerrard moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
