The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dachubbyone swinging wildly here.
Dachubbyone looks to land a combination. Mazza sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Lou Mazza has been cut.
Dachubbyone avoids the body shot from Mazza.
Mazza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dachubbyone's waist but Dachubbyone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mazza off to one side.
Mazza closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dachubbyone circles away.
Mazza shoots in looking for a takedown. Dachubbyone tries to sprawl out of it but Mazza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dachubbyone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gimli Dachubbyone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lou Mazza.
Mazza scores with a jab to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mazza misses with a takedown attempt - Dachubbyone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mazza is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Mazza shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dachubbyone napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Mazza is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dachubbyone looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mazza gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dachubbyone is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mazza lets go of the hold and Dachubbyone can pop his arm back in it's socket.
