Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Punka Tuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cedric Jackson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cedric Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tuka shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tuka dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Tuka's head and hops out.
Jackson wants to counter with a clinch but Tuka pushes him away.

Tuka gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Tuka wriggles free and stands up.
Tuka really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tuka leaves Jackson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tuka tries to counter with a takedown but Jackson is quick to defend against it.
Tuka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Punka Tuka. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tuka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jackson sprawls well. Jackson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tuka gets slowly back to his feet.

Tuka has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jackson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tuka drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jackson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Jackson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tuka blocks it with crossed arms.

Tuka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jackson has a takedown stuffed.
Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Tuka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tuka tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tuka to the ground. Tuka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Jackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tuka swivels and escapes.

Tuka takes the fight into the clinch.

Jackson is trying to pull guard but Tuka turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Tuka pulls guard effortlessly.

Tuka has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jackson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jackson is looking for a takedown.

Jackson has picked Tuka up - he's going for a ride! Jackson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tuka pushes Jackson off looking to stand but Jackson dives back in and keeps control.
Tuka trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Punka Tuka will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jackson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tuka tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jackson is in Tuka's guard.

Tuka had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jackson defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tuka is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Jackson presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Tuka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tuka lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Jackson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tuka defends it nicely.
Tuka throws a half hearted mid kick.
Punka Tuka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tuka tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jackson is looking to control Tuka's arms but Tuka gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jackson has his back to the cage.

We've been informed that Jackson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson won't allow Tuka to get back to his feet.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
