The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Spencer has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Lopez dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Spencer . That did some damage!

Lopez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Spencer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Spencer might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
