Little's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Snoop Dogg - Murder was the Case. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jakob Silfversberg!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Little scores with a kick to the midsection.
Little ducks under a wild hook from Silfversberg.

Little decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Silfversberg gets full guard.

Silfversberg has his foot on Little's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Little works his way back into a safe position though.

Little throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silfversberg works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Little has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silfversberg manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Little manages to get himself to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silfversberg is on top in guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've been informed that Silfversberg has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Little swats away the attempt to clinch by Silfversberg.
As Silfversberg backs away, Little returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Little manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Silfversberg on his heels. He'll look to pass Silfversberg's guard now, I'm sure.

Silfversberg is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Little frees his head nicely. Oh but Silfversberg has switched to an armbar! Little is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

After the fight, Jakob Silfversberg was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
