Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Drake!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown lands with a good body shot.
Drake slips a jab and a cross from Brown.
Brown lands with a straight right. Drake didn't see that one coming.
Brown misses the shot to the body.
Brown tries to move into range but Drake moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Drake slips a straight right by Brown.
Brown just misses with a punch to the body.
Drake takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A swing and a miss from Brown.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Drake! But no joy.
Drake lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brown circles away quickly and effectively.
Brown misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Drake.
Brown swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Brown jabbing away but nothing is landing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Drake fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brown, pushing him back against the cage.
Brown fails to pull guard.

Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brown throws a right and a left that both miss.
Brown misses with a right hand
letting Drake counter with a right hand.
Brown looks to throw the jab but Drake is out of range.
Brown throws the left hand but Drake avoids the punch easily.
Brown misses with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown scores with a jab. Drake acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Brown takes a swing at Drake's ribcage but misses.
Brown misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brown misses with a left hand
and Drake counters with a nice uppercut.
Drake tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it.
Drake looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range.
Brown lands with a shot to the body.
Drake with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brown to score with a decent uppercut.
Brown moves out of range of the strikes.
Drake throws a hook but Brown avoids it easily.
Brown went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Drake pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Brown misses with a wild combination.
Drake connects with a single shot there.
The crowd cheers as Drake lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brown doesn't seem phased though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown scores with a punch to the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brown, as that shot connected.

and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Brown is rocked!

Drake has taken the fight to the clinch.
Brown swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Drake tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Drake throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Drake dips a shoulder and cracks Brown with a mighty uppercut! Brown falls back against the cage and Drake unloads with a barrage of strikes! Brown is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Drake screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Drake!
