Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Borjni Valkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Django El Rojo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Django El Rojo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Borjni Valkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Django El Rojo!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valkov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with El Rojo but El Rojo pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A momentary lapse in concentration from El Rojo enables Valkov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. El Rojo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Valkov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if El Rojo can do anything to dispel that myth.
El Rojo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Valkov off and has taken his back!

El Rojo doesn't have the hooks in and Valkov manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Valkov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Valkov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. El Rojo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Valkov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Valkov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before El Rojo can pounce on him.

El Rojo moves into the clinch successfully.
Valkov jumps guard but El Rojo stands there with Valkov around his waist. Valkov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Valkov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
El Rojo scores a nice knee to the body.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Valkov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as El Rojo walks away with a smile on his face. Valkov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That was a close round but I would say that Borjni Valkov will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

El Rojo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Valkov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

El Rojo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Valkov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Valkov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but El Rojo defends well and Valkov ends up having to push El Rojo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Valkov sets himself, and El Rojo steps forward looking for the clinch! Valkov avoids it this time.

El Rojo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Valkov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
El Rojo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

El Rojo tries to counter with a clinch but Valkov shakes him off and moves away.
El Rojo throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Valkov's head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
El Rojo lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

and El Rojo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Valkov's knee momentarily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Django El Rojo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think El Rojo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
