The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed moves into range and clinches up with Kamasutra.
Kamasutra is looking to break free of the clinch but Creed has double underhooks.
Creed lands a left hand.

A decent looking cross lands there for Creed.

The crowd cheers as Creed lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kamasutra doesn't seem phased though.

and Kamasutra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Creed's corner calls for a 1-2. Creed obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Creed looks to score with a jab to the body but Kamasutra is just out of range.

Creed lands with a straight right. Kamasutra didn't see that one coming.
Creed throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kamasutra stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Creed is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Creed went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Yoji Kamasutra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kamasutra closes the distance looking to clinch
and Creed counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kamasutra thinking.
Creed throws a big shot that misses.
Kamasutra throws a chopping leg kick but Creed manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Creed bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

and Creed holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
I was talking to Creed's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Still in the clinch, Creed scores with a nice short uppercut.
Kamasutra misses with a punch to the body.
Kamasutra is looking to break free of the clinch but Creed has double underhooks.
Creed lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kamasutra is rocked!
Clinched against the cage, Creed lands a big elbow that drops Kamasutra! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Kamasutra is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Apollo Creed!
