Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Firas Qabbani!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Qabbani.
Qabbani connects with a body shot that sends Parker's belly button to the back.
Firas Qabbani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parker doesn't manage to clinch there - Qabbani circles away.
Qabbani looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Qabbani pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Qabbani's coach down at Hunter's hideout was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Qabbani's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Parker lands a nice hook to Qabbani's body. Qabbani takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Parker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Qabbani moves away.
Qabbani looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Parker bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.


It looks like Firas Qabbani has been cut.
Qabbani throws a sloppy head kick and Parker moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker scores with a jab to the head.
Qabbani lands a nice leg kick that just misses Parker's sensitive parts.
Parker misses the shot to the body.
Qabbani throws a head kick but Parker moves out of range.

Parker moves into the clinch.
Parker goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Parker misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Parker blocks a body shot from Qabbani.
Parker lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Parker lands a nice uppercut.

Parker is pushing Qabbani up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Parker tries to throw a body punch but Qabbani avoids it by throwing Parker back against the cage.

Parker works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Parker lands a left hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Parker lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Qabbani tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Parker working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
A nice right hand lands inside from Qabbani.
Parker misses with a hook to the ribs.
Qabbani goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Parker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Qabbani gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Parker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Qabbani scores with a jab to the body.
Parker looks for the body kick but Qabbani saw that one coming.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Qabbani ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Qabbani fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Parker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Qabbani misses with a left hand
and Parker counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Qabbani to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Parker!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Scott Parker!
During a confident post fight interview, Scott Parker thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
