Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, MA RO!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
RO shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Garrison defends it nicely.
Garrison wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

RO dives in and scores a takedown into Garrison's guard.
RO showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
RO is looking to stand up but Garrison won't let him.

RO avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
RO seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

RO takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

RO scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

RO is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

RO has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Garrison reaches up to try and control the position but RO seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Garrison rolls and tries to escape and now RO has his back!

RO is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Garrison is defending well though. RO let's go of the attempt for now.
Garrison might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
RO is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

RO has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Garrison has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

RO throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Garrison!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Garrison wants to clinch up but RO keeps it at a distance.
As Garrison backs off RO throws a huge counter combo but Garrison manages to avoid it all.

RO closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

RO has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Garrison is trying to keep an underhook but RO manages to get the takedown into half guard.

RO is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Garrison sees it coming and defends easily.
Garrison really is a fat lump.

Garrison is looking for a sweep. RO is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
RO perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

RO is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Garrison looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
What can Garrison do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

RO has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Garrison tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

MA RO showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


RO is trying hard to land a takedown here. Garrison sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
No joy there for RO, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Garrison wants to break the clinch but can't.
RO will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Garrison up against the cage.

RO looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Garrison tries to roll over but RO keeps him under control.

RO's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that RO has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

RO is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

RO is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Garrison is looking to control RO's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Garrison avoid being mounted?
RO takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

RO content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Ground and pound from RO.

RO is trying to work for a kimura but Garrison is defending well.
Garrison tries to get to full guard but RO has control of the leg.
RO looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
RO has his takedown stuffed
and Garrison counters with a nice uppercut.

RO fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Garrison avoids it really well and circles away.
Garrison tried to counter with a leg kick but RO avoided it.
Porfirio Garrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of MA RO.
RO takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Garrison rushes RO and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

MA RO comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got RO winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
