The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Offley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cross is trying to defend but Offley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Offley tries to pass to full mount but Cross defends it.
Cross has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Offley is working away from the top position though.
Cross is trying to stand.
Cross knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Offley on the ground.
Offley is working for a submission of some sort.
Cross has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Offley is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cross sees it coming and defends easily.
Offley in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Cross tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Offley!

The defeated Magnus Cross had this to say: 'Its good fun sparring with these old guys,(they fight hard) but its always hard to get serious and smash them to a pulp when they wear hearing aids and pads in their tights.'.
