Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cooter Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Titties and Beer. Cooter Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cooter Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mason Graham!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown just misses with a punch to the body.
Brown bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Graham takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Graham throws a counter combo.
Graham tries to bum rush Brown with a series of wild strikes but Brown uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Brown darts in and clinches Graham up against the cage.
Graham lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brown backwards.
Graham avoids a wild elbow strike from Brown.
Graham's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Graham is pushing Brown up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Brown drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Graham gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Brown tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Graham defends well and Brown ends up having to push Graham into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Brown shoots for a takedown but Graham saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Graham bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Graham scores with a hook to the body. Brown takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Brown is looking to wear down Graham with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Graham has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brown finds it's way round the side to connect with Graham's head.
Graham uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brown.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Graham throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Graham fails to land with a series of punches.
Brown swings for the body but Graham moves out of range.
Brown connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brown. Graham does a little dance to reset his feet.

Brown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Graham looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Graham can't do much from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Graham throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Brown wants to control from the top but Graham keeps moving.
Brown passes Graham's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Brown looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Graham is looking to improve his position.
Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Brown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Graham is just riding it out for now. Brown eventually gives up the hold.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Mason Graham is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Graham lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Graham uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brown.

It seemed like Graham was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Graham has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Graham there as he acknowledges the shot.

Graham has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cooter Brown will probably get the nod.

Brown throws a shot from downtown. Graham moves away and avoids it.
Graham throws an overhand right that drops Brown like a sack of potatoes! Graham dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
