Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anta Gonista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ren Hitogoroshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gonista might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Honey Bucket. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hitogoroshi's choice of entrance music: Crooked by Bassbin Twins. Anta Gonista has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonista takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hitogoroshi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gonista moves away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gonista jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hitogoroshi walks away with a smile on his face. Gonista gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gonista fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hitogoroshi.

We've been informed that Hitogoroshi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

It looks like Anta Gonista has been cut.
Gonista has Hitogoroshi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hitogoroshi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hitogoroshi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Hitogoroshi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hitogoroshi cracks Gonista on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Gonista falls backwards against the cage. Hitogoroshi follows up with more strikes that drop Gonista to his knees. Hitogoroshi keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Gonista! This one is all over!
