The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenzie has closed the distance and engaged Yang in a clinch.
McKenzie lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Virgil Yang has been cut.
Yang is trying to force a seperation but McKenzie has the dominant position.
Yang wants to get back to striking at distance but McKenzie won't allow it.
McKenzie keeps control of Yang as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Yang wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McKenzie has him pressed against the cage.
Yang really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
