The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vazquez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Boss escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vazquez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Despite the aggression on Vazquez's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Boss is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Vazquez can do to turn this around?
Vazquez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boss as he jumps to the side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
