The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles fails to land with a series of punches.
David Charles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Charles tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pensatucky keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pensatucky decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pensatucky is trying to control the action in half guard but Charles is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pensatucky in particular looking to stall.
Pensatucky is trying to work for a kimura but Charles is defending well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pensatucky trying to control the action but Charles is working from the bottom.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Pensatucky is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Charles shoots in looking for a takedown but Pensatucky manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Charles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pensatucky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pensatucky postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Charles will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pensatucky throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Charles works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pensatucky arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Charles's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Oscar Pensatucky!
