Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elwood Hester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ric Flair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flair is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by DANGERZONE -by KENNY LOGGINS. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flair shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Flair takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Flair's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Hester knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flair on the ground.
Hester has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Flair is working away from the top position though.
Flair is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Flair is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Hester controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Hester really is a fat lump.
Flair is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flair seems to be looking for submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Flair seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hester does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Flair throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Flair in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hester tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Flair!
