Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Lawman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Blackwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blackwell has chosen UNDER THE KNIFE -by HATEBREED as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rick Blackwell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawman looks for the body kick but Blackwell saw that one coming.
Blackwell swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Blackwell.
Lawman ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lawman tries to score with a low kick but Blackwell moves his leg out of the way.
Blackwell tries to bum rush Lawman with a series of wild strikes but Lawman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lawman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Blackwell throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Blackwell misses with an attempted mid kick.
Blackwell lands a nice looking kick to the body. Lawman takes a step back to recover.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blackwell uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Blackwell throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Blackwell throws the left hand but Lawman avoids the punch easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lawman scores with a hook to the body. Blackwell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Blackwell looks winded!
Blackwell on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Blackwell throws a shot from downtown. Lawman moves away and avoids it.
Blackwell blocks a head kick by Lawman.
A little jabbing left from Blackwell on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Blackwell wants to clinch but Lawman slips to the side
enabling Lawman to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Rick Blackwell has been cut.
Lawman thumps Blackwell with a low kick.
Lawman lands a nice looking kick to the body. Blackwell takes a step back to recover.

Lawman cracks Blackwell with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lawman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Blackwell to stand back up!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A good leg kick by Lawman.
Blackwell checks a low kick from Lawman.
Blackwell on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lawman lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Lawman drops Blackwell with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Blackwell looks back up at him and smiles so Lawman waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Blackwell is rocked!

That has opened up Rick Blackwell's cut even more.
Blackwell has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Lawman.
Lawman misses with a low kick.
Lawman scores with a kick to the body.
Lawman flashes Blackwell a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Blackwell's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Blackwell crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Lawman punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dave Lawman!
A relieved looking Dave Lawman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Rick Blackwell spoke after the fight, saying 'DGAF'.
