The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tr closes the distance and clinches up with Balabanko, looking for a takedown. Tr pushes Balabanko against the cage but Balabanko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tr throws a sloppy head kick and Balabanko moves out of range easily.
Tr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Balabanko tries to counter with a takedown but Tr is quick to defend against it.
Balabanko has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Nice sprawl there from Balabanko as Tr shoots in.
Georgiy Balabanko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Tr.
Tr shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Balabanko as he avoids it easily.
Balabanko half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Tr jumps guard and drags Balabanko to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Balabanko lands a couple of decent looking shots.
