Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvatore Lucania (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucania is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Murder Inc. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lucania.
Nice jab there from Harris.
Harris fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Harris scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Lucania ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harris moves away.
Nice uppercut there from Harris.
Harris has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lucania.
Harris connects with a right hand. Lucania shakes it off.
Lucania feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Harris's calf.
Harris has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Harris there as he acknowledges the shot.
Harris cracks the inside of Lucania's front leg.

Harris throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Harris throws a jab but it's blocked by Lucania.
Lucania is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Harris throws out a loose jab but Lucania uses good head movement to avoid it.

Harris ducks under a wild hook from Lucania.
Harris lands with an uppercut that bounces Lucania off the cage and back into range.
Harris swings and misses with a hook to the body.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lucania has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Harris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lucania.
We've been hearing reports that Harris has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Lucania scores with a body shot.
Lucania is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Harris.
No luck for Lucania with that takedown attempt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lucania enables Harris to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lucania manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Harris throws a strike but Lucania rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Harris is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lucania throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Harris's body to avoid the submission. Harris has instead reached around Lucania's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Harris arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
