Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodolfo Vieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake jabs Vieira right on the nose. Vieira blinks but takes it well.
Vieira walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Vieira tries for a takedown but Blake circles away easily
and Blake counters with a left to the body.
Vieira takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Rodolfo Vieira has been cut.
Blake lands a nice hook to Vieira's body. Vieira takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Blake thuds a left hand into Vieira's body.

Blake gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vieira forces his way into half guard.

Vieira is working for a kimura but Blake is defending it quite comfortably.

Vieira is pressing down on Blake's thigh, looking to free his foot. Blake is holding on for now.
Vieira passes the guard and advances to mount!
