Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JoJo Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marley OConnor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). JoJo Kush has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marley OConnor!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OConnor misses the shot to the body.
Kush keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kush fails with a takedown attempt.
Kush uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by OConnor.
OConnor catches Kush with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kush slips a jab and a cross from OConnor.
OConnor scores with a shot to the body.
Kush tries to score a power double leg takedown but OConnor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kush somewhat.
Kush fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
OConnor's coach down at Noble Intentions was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on OConnor's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JoJo Kush. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
OConnor keeps the fight on the outside.
Kush has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kush's hands are dropping dangerously low here and OConnor connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kush scrambles back to his feet.

OConnor cracks Kush with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. OConnor has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kush to stand back up!

Kush is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
OConnor lands a brutal uppercut that launches Kush off his feet! Kush tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marley OConnor!
As Marley OConnor got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I'm the bigger man! I'm the biggest man around, and I will fight any man who comes round and says any different! I will fight any man!'.
