The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes scores with a jab.
Down slips a straight right by Fernandes.
Fernandes walks forward, straight into a front kick from Down.
Fernandes takes a swing at Down's ribcage but misses.
Down scores with a kick to the midsection.
Down takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Down scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fernandes doesn't seem bothered though.
Fernandes is breathing heavily.
A jab from Down does it's job there.
Down misses with a wild body shot.
Fernandes misses with a body shot.
Down thuds a left hand into Fernandes's body.
Down lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fernandes at a distance.

Down throws the kick towards the body but Fernandes avoids it.
Down fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fernandes manages to avoid it.

and Down counters with a nice kick to the body.
Fernandes lands with an uppercut that bounces Down off the cage and back into range.
Down tests Fernandes's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fernandes walks forward, straight into a front kick from Down.
Fernandes takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
