Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jonas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jonas tries to avoid it but Boy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jonas to the ground. Jonas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Boy is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jonas has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boy jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jonas is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jonas and Boy has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Boy throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jonas uses it to pass to side control.
Jonas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Boy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jonas looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jonas looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jonas!
Boy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jonas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Jon Jonas will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Boy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jonas is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jonas has escaped and now he's on top!

Boy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jonas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jonas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jonas has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jonas wants to get up but he can't break Boy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Boy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Boy wants to finish this one by submission but Jonas is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Boy.

Boy is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jonas has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jonas!
