The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jallow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jallow is looking to clinch.
Huerta closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Huerta lands in his opponent's guard.
Huerta would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Jallow looking for a sweep. Not yet Jallow, not yet.
Jallow is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Huerta trying to control but Jallow is working from the bottom.
Jallow looking for a guillotine here but Huerta defends easily.
Jallow had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Huerta is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jallow Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Huerta's back instead.

Jallow has the hooks in. Huerta is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Huerta breaks Jallow's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Huerta is posturing up here but Jallow has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Huerta tries to roll out but it's too tight and Huerta has to tap! Slick submission there by Jallow!
