The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guida lands a nice leg kick that just misses McSnifferpippitz's sensitive parts.
Guida tries to bum rush McSnifferpippitz with a series of wild strikes but McSnifferpippitz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Conor Guida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McSnifferpippitz dives in and grabs Guida's left leg, looking for a takedown. Guida pushes down on McSnifferpippitz's head and hops out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McSnifferpippitz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Guida to the mat! Guida manages to get full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Guida has momentary wrist control but McSnifferpippitz slips an elbow through the middle.
McSnifferpippitz is pushing down on Guida's leg trying to pass to half guard. Guida is fighting to maintain full guard but McSnifferpippitz has managed to sneak the leg through.

McSnifferpippitz lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

McSnifferpippitz seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

McSnifferpippitz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Guida with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

McSnifferpippitz lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Guida quite badly. Guida pulls McSnifferpippitz in close trying to recover. McSnifferpippitz postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Guida on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Guida doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
