The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Pelosio counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Wad holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Pelosio trying to control the position but instead, Wad has worked for underhooks and has pushed Pelosio into the cage.

Pelosio is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wad to keep the fight standing.

Wad's coach down at Combat Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Wad's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Wad drops Pelosio with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Pelosio! Wad dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
