The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Lothbrok. Those never looked like landing.

Barao drives through and clinches with Lothbrok against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lothbrok lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Barao backwards.

Barao's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lothbrok tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barao swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Barao will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That was a close round but I would say that Renan Barao will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lothbrok catches Barao with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Lothbrok tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Barao manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Oh Barao is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lothbrok drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Barao right on the button. Barao goes down! Lothbrok follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Lothbrok gets the win via TKO!
