PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sega Genesis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stannis Wilcox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Genesis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sonic the hedgehog theme song -by GENESIS . Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Wilcox moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Genesis goes down! Can Wilcox finish him!?

It looks like Sega Genesis has been cut.
Genesis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Wilcox throws an elbow that misses. Genesis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wilcox's guard. Nice move by Genesis!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wilcox is wriggling around but Genesis manages to pass to half guard.

Genesis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Wilcox is looking to control Genesis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wilcox avoid being mounted?
Genesis is looking to take a break and control but Wilcox is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wilcox really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Genesis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wilcox wants to get back to his feet. He's half way up but Genesis drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Wilcox 's chin! Wilcox is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! This one is all over!

Sega Genesis was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
