Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Boyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Zombie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lou Zombie is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Zombie leaves Boyer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Zombie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Boyer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Boyer decides to stand and escape the position.
Boyer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Don Boyer has been cut.
Boyer stalks Zombie and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Zombie's face. Zombie staggers backwards, shaken.
Boyer really is a fat lump.
Zombie swinging wildly here.
Boyer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boyer misses with the combination.
Zombie rushes Boyer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boyer lands a right hand that snaps the head of Zombie backwards.
Zombie looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Boyer slowing the pace effectively.
Boyer breaks from the clinch.
Zombie throws a head kick that misses.
Boyer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zombie as he avoids it easily.
Zombie misses with a combination
and Boyer counters with a left and a right that stings Zombie.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Boyer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zombie throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Zombie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boyer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Zombie throws a one two combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boyer wants to clinch.

Boyer keeps the fight on the outside.
Boyer really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Boyer moves out of range of the body kick from Zombie.
Boyer is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Zombie.
Zombie throws a series of punches but Boyer moves out of range.
Zombie showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Boyer.
Boyer shoots in for a double leg but Zombie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Zombie tries to sprawl but Boyer drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Zombie misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Zombie has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Boyer is on him like a limpet, forcing Zombie back against the cage.
Zombie wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Boyer has him pressed against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Zombie's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Zombie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Zombie moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Boyer is rocked!
Lou Zombie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zombie wants to clinch up but Boyer keeps it at a distance.
Oh Boyer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zombie tries to clinch but Boyer moves out of range.
Boyer is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Zombie just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Boyer has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lou Zombie!
Lou Zombie was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
