The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beech drives through and clinches with Rojas against the cage.

Rojas manages to pull guard.
Beech won't allow Rojas to sweep him here.
Rojas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Beech being controlled here momentarily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rojas is on top in guard.

Rojas is in close to Beech's body, working some short punches and elbows.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rojas stops Beech from standing up.
Rojas with a flurry of punches that miss.

Rojas content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Rojas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rojas postures up and lands a big shot to Beech's brow.
Beech working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rojas.
Beech has momentary wrist control but Rojas slips an elbow through the middle.

Beech is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rojas postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Beech covers up, he's hurt! Rojas keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Rojas and the ref steps in to end the fight! Rojas can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
