The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Deal.
Maddox darts in trying to clinch
and Deal counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Deal connects with a single shot there.
Deal uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Maddox has time to react.
Maddox has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Deal changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Maddox looks winded!
Maddox closes the distance and clinches up with Deal, looking for a takedown. Maddox pushes Deal against the cage but Deal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Deal throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Maddox crashing down! Maddox tries to stagger back to his feet but Deal just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Maddox asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big Deal!
