Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tuma Krapala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cranky Mark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tuma Krapala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cranky Mark!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mark connects with an inside leg kick.
Krapala tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mark swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Krapala lands a nice looking body kick.
Tuma Krapala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Krapala shoots in but no luck this time.
Mark tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Mark lands a nice leg kick that just misses Krapala's sensitive parts.

A bone on bone clash there as Krapala blocks the leg kick.

Krapala connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mark's hands.


It looks like Cranky Mark has been cut.
Krapala takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Mark takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Krapala tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mark feints and then cracks Krapala's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Krapala down.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tuma Krapala will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Cranky Mark's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Krapala ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Cranky Mark seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Krapala stuns Mark with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Horrible takedown attempt by Krapala or perhaps it was just good defense by Mark, which made it look bad.

Mark lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Krapala on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mark throws a nice outside leg kick.
Krapala misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Krapala changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mark tries to avoid it but Krapala manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mark to the ground. Mark escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tuma Krapala. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Krapala tries for a takedown but Mark sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And Mark tries to counter it with a takedown but Krapala pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Mark displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Krapala.
Mark throws a leg kick which misses Krapala's front leg but catches the back leg as Krapala tries to avoid it.

Mark shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mark was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Mark wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Krapala, who protects the arm well.
Mark cracks Krapala with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krapala lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.


Krapala got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mark has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Krapala has managed to get both his arms back between Mark's legs - danger averted.

Mark fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Krapala has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Good leg kick by Mark there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mark takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mark fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Krapala.
Krapala fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Krapala throws a lazy right hand but Mark sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Krapala is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mark keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Krapala's head.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Krapala is on top in guard.

Cranky Mark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mark has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After winning the bout, Cranky Mark thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Tuma Krapala stepped up to the mic, saying 'Obviously Mr. Styles management team and I just weren't on the same page, so it's time for me to move on. Thank you for the battles gentlemen and perhaps I'll see some of you another time, another place'.
