Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lopez's choice of entrance music: Vamos. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

34 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Miguel Lopez!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King closes the distance but Lopez moves to the side
and Lopez counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lopez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. King doesn't seem bothered though.
Brian King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lopez bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
King drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Lopez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps King's head backwards.
No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
King takes a body punch but keeps moving.
King moves to clinch but Lopez breaks away
and Lopez counters with a low kick, right behind King 's knee.
Lopez lands with a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
King wants to clinch up but Lopez keeps it at a distance.
Lopez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lopez lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Lopez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Lopez lands a high kick!
King will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lopez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed King momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round.

King falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lopez makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Lopez lands with a good body shot.
Left hook, right uppercut from Lopez.
King throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
King lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lopez circles away quickly and effectively.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Lopez.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A combination from King does no damage.
Lopez lands with a thumping leg kick.
King takes a kick to the side of the head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from King.
Miguel Lopez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A left and a right from Lopez both land. Nice combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lopez lands a big head kick that sends King tumbling to the mat! Lopez takes a step backwards and waves King back to his feet - he wants the finish!
King is rocked!
King sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lopez is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down King rather than just go for the knockout.
Lopez thumps King with a low kick.
Lopez lunges at King with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by King's hand.
King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lopez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A nice side step and Lopez releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
King misses with a wild combination.
Lopez lands a brutal head kick. King looks out on his feet and Lopez throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
